E.F. (from Yelp)What would we do without Sundog? What would we do without Sundog? Scott has been our Welsh terrier's walker and buddy since he was a little pup, and getting a walk with Scott is still the highlight of his day. Scott is ultra-reliable, through sun, rain, sleet and snow. Besides daily walks, Scott is also our number one person to entrust out dog with when we leave town on vacation.
David B. We've been working with Scott from Sundog for over 2 years now....(moved)We've been working with Scott from Sundog for over 2 years now and he makes our crazy work/life schedule work. Scott is very flexible with his time and helps us out in more binds than I care to admit to. I have called him early in the morning to see if he can fit our dogs in that day and he almost always accommodates. He is loving and sweet with our dogs. They have boarded at his house and he and his wife were very understanding considering our dogs are neurotic freaks. On his walking days he leaves cute and funny notes about their outings and lets us know if he has any concerns. He's been quite helpful with our questions. At the end of each month he sends us updates on where we stand with our account which we appreciate. I would recommend Sundog to anyone.
Anne H. (from Canpages)Knowledgeable, dedicated, and professional service! Knowledgeable, dedicated, and professional service! Renee deVilliers (In Memorium)Scott has been Sam’s dog walker since Sam was 3 months old.... Sam is a Golden Retriever and is now in the “terrible twos” so not always as well behaved as I would like him to be. Scott has been very helpful in providing training and behavioural advice as well as caring for him at his home when we are away for an extended period of time. Scott is very patient and helpful with the dogs as well as being extremely dependable. I would recommend using Scott and his services to anyone. Also, Sam loves him! "
Dorothee K. and Sam Scott has been walking my Havanese, Emma, since November 2005... (moved)Emma was 8 months old at the time. Emma adores Scott. He is patient, kind, energetic and playful – just what a puppy needs. Scott is extremely knowledgeable about dogs and has offered several useful suggestions on how I might deal with the occasional behavioural problem. I trust Scott implicitly. He is honest, reliable and very pleasant..." Joan I. and Emma Sundog has been taking care of our golden-doodle, Marley, since she was a pup. Sundog has been taking care of our golden-doodle, Marley, since she was a pup. Every day we would come home to little stories about what Marley did in the park or at the beach, who she played with and her new boyfriends. Scott helped to train Marley as well - within minutes of Scott meeting her, she was sitting on command. While we fear that Marley likes Scott more than us (her reaction when Scott comes to pick her up is quite a bit more excited than when we come home), we are thrilled with the level of care and affection that she gets with Sundog. I could not recommend Sundog Pet Services more highly - they are dependable, knowledgeable, and most importantly, our dog loves them!

The first 3 months of a dogs life are the most important for socialization. Puppies should recieve as much socialization as possible. Socialization includes positive experiences with people and other puppies or adutl dogs that you can trust. Socialization does not include negative experiences where a puppy is scared and cannot recover. Make sure that your puppy is comfortable with the environment after a jaring experience. If your puppy is not taking food that it might otherwise normally, then it is not comfortable. Seek help if your puppy is continually refusing food and is acting scared. more hints.
