Why Choose a
Professional Dog walker?
When
you hire someone to take care of your companion you want to know that
your fur-baby will be safe and well taken care of.
A pet care professional offers many
advantages that non-professionals either do not, or cannot
offer.
Professional pet-care providers have insurance to cover
any accidents or damage caused while your pet is in their care, or
while they are visiting your pet in your home. Professionals
are bonded; this should be required of anyone who has access to
your home. A professional will have training and recent certification
in Pet First
Aid and CPR.
Since professionals usually work full
time at providing pet care, they have extensive experience and are
constantly upgrading their knowledge and skills. We are members of All
Canadian Pet Sitters Network which provides
training opportunities and networking with other professionals which
also helps us expand our skills and serve our clients better.
Professionals also follow voluntary regulations, like walking an
appropriate number of dogs. We obey the law and do not walk dogs in
illegal areas or take dogs to parks where they are not allowed. We also
strive to be good neighbours to other people using the parks, and we
always pick up after the pooches. We would do this anyway, but since
dog-walking is our livelihood it's extremely important for us to
maintain high standards of care for both the dogs and the environment
